HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I hope no company uses Canada Post delivery if they dont want to loose their customers. I always have address verification issues and delay because of that evenif i give my correct address when making a purchase.
And when i try to chat with the Canada post agent online, they just cut me off twice eventhough i was being very polite and just wanted to provide them my correct address so there is no more possible delays. The agent that joined my chat just disconnected with me because i asked a simple question?
Why is there even an agent employed to support customer online when they cant even answer a simple question, given that the customer is still being polite with you? Can they just kick out the customer from a chat after making them wait for a simple question asked? is that even the policy of Canada Post?
Please this is my humble request to Canada post to train the online virtual agent employees.
it is very disheartening to experience this. I was being polite and just asked about address twice but both the times they said "please wait i will check" and them boom, they just disconnected without even helping or at least saying something. I felt like someone just slammed their doors on my face twice while i was still being nice.
Wow!! Thats whats called a great customer service, i must say

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. It finally arrived after 13 days, nowhere near the 4 days I was promised but at least it finally arrived thank God

Preferred solution: Worker to be fired and finally have the packages I sent to my friend where she can pick them up with no problem as she should have been able to in the first place!

For some reason its entirely unforetold for Canada Post to help you once you accidentally shipped something to the wrong address. I shipped something to an address that I moved out of a year ago, the house is vacant and the package that cost me hundreds will sit in the community mailbox until they pick it up, at which time it will be returned to sender, a process that will take WEEKS.
Totally on me for not noticing my address hadn't been changed with the company, but Canada Post in the face of this problem basically tell you to go *** yourself. I don't for the LIFE of me understand why they can't hold my package at the post office.
I understand not changing the address, but someone sit me down and explain to me like I'm stupid why they can't hold it at a Canada Post location for me instead of everyone *** around by returning it to sender. Luckily the company has better customer service than these *** idiots, and issued me a free replacement, but honestly what in the *** Canada Post made me geuinely consider immigrating somewhere with literally any other mail service.

It's bad enough they don't deliver on weekends but have found workers to have a bad attitude! I sent two separate packages from NB Canada to B.C.
Canada. However where in my name but the address on it matches my friends mailing address and has the required information like the tracking number and such even though I've read the policy and as long as the address matches she is allowed to pick it up! Now here is the problem the post office that's closest to her is 1 hour and a half away where she picks up her mail at richmoud B.C. Canada.
However the working has told her the packages aren't there for the past few weeks and I started to look into my orders which show they have been there for now a month! I called and talked to the worker that is the same highly unprofessional and rude about it were she stated I have to go to my local Canada post and get a stamp of approval for my friend to have a copy and it be in the system so she will be allowed to pick said packages up! I did just that but when I spoke to my local post office and told them why they said it makes so sense and showed me even written in Canada posts own policy on the back of drop of notices that my friend had all legal requirements but the lady still is continuing to deny her what was supposed to be Christmas present but thanks to her didn't happen...
I honestly think she's told others there mail never showed when it has and has been stealing peoples mail! She should be suspended or fired and investigated!

Here it is Feb and still no resolution and still no solution .Being told it's a privacy breach go tell me where my items ( delivery) was sent back k to . Even though the o nly receiver name and info happens to be mine .I'm the buyer and receiver but it's a privacy...
And I do not drive
. So I did all my shopping this holiday season online.
So you can imagine with a big family the amount of items I had. Hard to keep track of what shippers shipped and what ones didn't. Canada Post sent back an item of mine to the sender . And didn't notify me it was at my local spot .
They would not tell me who the sender was or the location of the shipper I explained to them that I was not aware of whom the sender was. . Could they help me to find it and get it back.They stated it was a breach of privacy and they couldn't tell me a thing. So here it is 2 months later.
I still have no idea what items I'm missing. Who the sender/shipper was.
Where my items are
One thing I do know is. I PAID FOR THEM AND HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT.
Boo, canada post.
